Biography

Robert is a veteran high technology executive who specializes in capital efficient revenue growth. He is an expert at driving revenue and sales leads via online direct marketing (i.e., pay per click (PPC) search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO) and social media marketing (SMM)). He is the founder of Executive Internet Resources, Inc. (DBA MySEMexperts), and currently serves as a director on the boards of Act3 Technologies, LLC and LeadGen, Inc.

In 2006-2008 Robert founded an online lead generation company that developed proprietary patent-pending, search engine marketing technology to deliver large numbers of qualified prospects to client-websites from the three major search engines, Google, MSN and Yahoo!

From 2001-2005 Robert was the President & CEO of EasyAsk, an enterprise search software company. EasyAsk was designated as “Visionary” in the Gartner Magic Quadrant, and as one of KMWorld’s “Top 100 Companies That Matter”. Following twelve consecutive quarters of double digit revenue growth EasyAsk was acquired by a public software company.

In 1999 Robert joined CMGI as SVP of Business Development & Integration. In four months he was promoted to Interim President & CEO of MyWay.com, a CMGI majority-owned, 330+ employee, private-label consumer portal. In twelve months revenues increased nearly 30% to $50M and operating income turned positive. MyWay.com was designated the 98th most visited website in the world by MediaMetrix and was later acquired by the IAC/InterActive Corp. (NASDAQ: IACI).

Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Northeastern University, and a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from Harvard Business School.
